Paul Bertozzi

President & CEO, Live Oak Contracting

Paul Bertozzi is a former constant of Jacksonville Dancing with the Stars. In 2017, he and his partner Ru McKinley (pictured right) raised $10,000 to benefit the Jacksonville Children’s Chorus. While he has officially retired from professional dancing, Paul is honored to have the opportunity to participate in the 2019 competition by serving as a judge.

Professionally, Paul is the founder of Live Oak Contracting, a full-service multifamily and commercial general contracting firm based in Downtown Jacksonville. Last year, the company was recognized at the #1 fastest growing private construction company in America, and Paul was selected as a finalist for EY Entrepreneur of the Year for the State of Florida. Outside of the office, Paul serves on the Board of Governors for the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce and the Board of Advisors for NEFL Urban Land Institute.

As a Jacksonville native, Paul is proud to support local charitable organizations including the Monique Burr Foundation, Jaguars Foundation, Safe Harbor Boys Academy, and United Way, that benefit the community. At home, he enjoys spending time with his wife Maren Bertozzi, and his two children who are the driving force behind Paul’s passion for child development focused philanthropies.  When he isn’t busy brushing up on his dance skills, Paul enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing and rooting for his alma mater, the Auburn University.
