Sarah Marie Miller



A native of Jacksonville, Florida and an avid equestrian, Sarah Marie Miller is a senior at Bishop Kenny High School. She studied dance and acrobatics for 10 years with Virginia Dell School of Dance, competed as a member of the BK Junior Varsity Cross Country team, and has also participated in soccer, basketball and cheerleading.

Sarah is a member of Bishop Kenny’s Spanish Honor Society. She also participated in the Navy Junior ROTC program, where she was on the Color Guard and Academic Teams. Sarah was awarded the NJROTC National Merit Award in 2016 and the Purple Heart Award in 2017.

In addition to her school work and extracurricular activities, Sarah was a Youth Leader for LifeTeen at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church. She’s worked as a stable hand and is a regular participant in English show events with First Coast Hunter Jumper Association (FCHJA) and Horse Shows in the Park. In 2013, she was FCJHA Grand Reserve Champion for her age group.Currently, she is a volunteer for K9s for Warriors.

A lifetime animal lover, Sarah is the happy owner of 3 rescue dogs and a gecko named Rhaegal. She will graduate with honors from Bishop Kenny in May, and has already been accepted to study Animal Sciences and Pre-Veterinary Studies at Berry College in Rome, Georgia. She is happy to dust off her dance moves to dance for her mother, Jeanne Miller, who was injured in a car accident earlier this year.
