Vic Micolucci

Vic Micolucci is a news anchor and investigative reporter at News4Jax.

He anchors the 9 a.m. hour of “The Morning Show” Monday through Friday and reports from the field weekday afternoons.

He joined the WJXT team in May 2010.

Vic has reported for outlets across the world including Good Morning America, 20/20, Nightline, NPR’s Morning Edition, CNN, HLN, HBO, ESPN, the BBC, Netflix and the Associated Press. His work has been featured on hundreds of websites worldwide.

He won a Suncoast Emmy award for his work on “Shoot, Don’t Shoot” in 2015. His work has been honored with a national William Randolph Hearst award and two regional Edward R. Murrow awards. His reporting has been recognized by the Society of Professional Journalists, the National Broadcasting Society and the Florida Associated Press Broadcasters. Vic was voted “Jacksonville's Best Investigative Reporter” in Folio Weekly's "Best of Jax" readers’ poll and “Best Male Reporter in the 904” in Void Magazine. He was also honored by The Buzz Magazine as “Jacksonville's Top 30 Future Leaders Under 30.” He’s been honored for his devotion to public safety by the Association of Professional Fire Fighters and the Northeast Florida Safety Council.

In 2016, Vic was chosen to fly with the world-famous Blue Angels. It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to spend time with some of the military’s most talented pilots.

Vic is an experienced storm chaser, who has covered hurricanes, tornadoes and other weather events.
